Prof. Ljiljana Trajkovic

Dr. Trajkovic served as IEEE Division X Delegate/Director (2019–2020) and IEEE Division X Delegate-Elect/Director- Elect (2018). She served as Senior Past President (2018–2019), Junior Past President (2016–2017), President (2014–2015), President-Elect (2013), Vice President Publications (2012–2013, 2010–2011), Vice President Long-Range Planning and Finance (2008–2009), and a Member at Large of the Board of Governors (2004–2006) of the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society. She served as 2007 President of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society and a member of its Board of Governors (2004–2005, 2001–2003). She served as Chair of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society joint Chapter of the Vancouver/Victoria Sections (2001–2021). 


She was Chair of the IEEE Technical Committee on Nonlinear Circuits and Systems (1998). She was General Co-Chair of SMC 2020 and General Co-Chair of SMC 2020, SMC 2019, and SMC 2018 Workshops on BMI Systems, SMC 2016, and HPSR 2014, Special Sessions Co-Chair of SMC 2017, Technical Program Chair of SMC 2017 and SMC 2016 Workshops on BMI Systems, Technical Program Co-Chair of ISCAS 2005, and Technical Program Chair and Vice General Co-Chair of ISCAS 2004. She serves as Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Human-Machine Systems (2021–2023) and served as an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems (Part I) (2004–2005, 1993–1995), the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems (Part II) (2018, 2002–2003, 1999–2001), and the IEEE Circuits and Systems Magazine (2001–2003). She is a Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society (2020–2021) and the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (2020–2021, 2010–2011, 2002–2003). She is a Professional Member of IEEE-HKN and a Life Fellow of the IEEE.

Prof. Bo Ai

Professor Ai is a national Outstanding Youth, Excellent Youth, Newton Senior Scholar Fund, "National Science and Technology Talents Program", "Qiushi Outstanding Youth Award" of China Association for Science and Technology; "Outstanding Young Scholar of China Engineering Frontier", Chinese Academy of Engineering. Currently, he is Chairman of IEEE BTS Xi 'an Branch, Vice Chairman of IEEE VTS Beijing Branch, distinguished lecturer of IEEE VTS, member of Chinese Electronics Society, member of Chinese Communication Society, supervisor of Chinese Communication Society Supervisory Board, and expert of National 6G General Group.


He has published more than 150 papers in IEEE journals, more than 11,000 academic citations in Google, and 13 paper awards from IEEE Globecom and other international conferences. It has obtained 32 authorized invention patents; It has won 9 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards. The research results have been included in five national industry standards, and the results have been applied to Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railways and the construction of over 100 railway lines covering more than 30,000 kilometers.

General Conference Chair



Prof. Jerry Chun-Wei Lin


IET Fellow,Western Norway University of Applied Sciences


Jerry Chun-Wei Lin is currently working as the full Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, Bergen, Norway. He has published 500+ research papers in refereed journals with more than 80 IEEE/ACM journals. and international conferences. His research interests include data mining and analytics, soft computing, deep learning/machine learning, optimization, IoT applications, and privacy-preserving and security technologies. 

 

He is the Editor-in-Chief of Data Science and Pattern Recognition (DSPR) journal, Associate Editor/Editor for 12 SCI journals including IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing, Information Sciences, among others. He has served as the Guest Editor for 50+ SCI journals. He is the leader of the well-known SPMF project, which provides more than 190 data mining algorithms and has been widely cited in many different applications. He has been awarded as the Most Cited Chinese Researcher in 2018, 2019, and 2020 by Elsevier/Scopus and Top-2% Scientist in 2019, 2020, and 2021 respectively by Stanford University report. He is the Fellow of IET (FIET), ACM Distinguished Scientist, and IEEE Senior Member.

Prof. Seifedine Kadry

Professor Seifedine Kadry has a Bachelor degree in 1999 from Lebanese University, MS degree in 2002 from Reims University (France) and EPFL (Lausanne), PhD in 2007 from Blaise Pascal University (France), HDR degree in 2017 from Rouen University. 


At present his research focuses on Data Science, education using technology, system prognostics, stochastic systems, and applied mathematics. He is an ABET program evaluator for computing, and ABET program evaluator for Engineering Tech. He is a Fellow of IET, Fellow of IETE, and Fellow of IACSIT. He is a distinguish speaker of IEEE Computer Society.

Prof. Jiliang Zhang            


Hunan University, China


Zhang Jiliang, Distinguished Professor/Doctoral Advisor of Yuelu Scholars of Hunan University, Vice Dean of the School of Semiconductors (School of Integrated Circuits) of Hunan University, Director of the Institute of Chip Security of Hunan University, and Secretary General of the Special Committee for Fault Tolerance of the Chinese Computer Society. National level young talents, leading talents in science and technology in Hunan Province, outstanding youth in Hunan Province, and young talents in Hunan Province.


He is mainly engaged in the research of integrated circuit design and new computing architecture, integrated circuit hardware security, processor chip security, etc. He has published more than 50 academic papers as the first author or corresponding author in TC, TCAD, TIFS, TIE, TODAES, TRETS, TCASI/TCASII, TVLSI, DAC, ASPDAC, etc., including more than 20 CCF-A conferences and IEEE/ACM-Trans20, one work or communication paper H-index24, physical non cloning chip of streaming chip, Some indicators have reached the international advanced level. For two consecutive years (2020/2021), he was selected into the "Top 2% Scientists in the World" list released by Stanford University, and ranked 64 in the global influence of computer hardware and architecture discipline.

Publication Chair


Prof. Yanan Sun


College of Computer Science, Sichuan University, China


Yanan Sun is currently a professor at the Department of Artificial Intelligence, College of Computer Science, Sichuan University, China. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Sichuan University in 2017 and was a Postdoc Research Fellow of Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand from 2017 to 2019. 


His research interests mainly include evolutionary computation, neural networks, and their applications in neural architecture search. He has published ~50 peer-reviewed papers in top-tier conferences and journals, and most are published in IEEE TEVC, IEEE TCYB, IEEE TNNLS, NeurIPS, and ICCV. Among the publications, four have been both ranked as ESI TOP 1% Highly Cited Paper and ESI TOP 0.1% Hot Paper, and three have been selected as Research Frontier papers from IEEE CIS Newsletter. Dr. Sun has made contributions to the research field of neural architecture search. The indicator “GPU Day” measuring the algorithm complexity of neural architecture search algorithm was firstly proposed by Dr. Sun. The term “performance predictor” which is a new research direction to accelerate neural architecture search was also firstly proposed by Dr. Sun. In addition, Dr. Sun has also led the construction of the BenchENAS platform that provides neural architecture search as a benchmarking platform. Dr. Sun was ranked as World’s Top 2% Scientists in 2021 released by Sandford University and Elsevier.

Prof. Dongning Liu

Dongning Liu is a full professor of Guangdong University of Technology in China  (2009-now). He was born on Jan. in 1979. He is responsible for teaching discrete math in School of Computer Science and Technology. He is engaged in education and technology transfer on collaborative computing. He is a vice dean of School of Computer Science and Technology. Dr. Liu earned a Ph.D. in Logic at Sun Yat-Sen University, Guangzhou, China (2007). He was a post Ph.D. in Math at Sun Yat-Sen University (2007-2009). He was a visiting professor in Nipissing University,North Bay, Canada (2015-2016). 


He has published more than 60 papers on computer magazines and international conferences. He is an associate editor for the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Magazine. He is a reviewer for several IEEE Transactions and other journals. He is a Technical Committee member of TC on Distributed Intelligent Systems (DIS) of IEEE Society, Distinguished Member of China Computer Federation(CCF), and a Committee member of TC on Cooperative Computing of CCF.

Jiawen Kang is a Full Professor at Guangdong University of Technology. He was a postdoc at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore from 2018 to 2021. His research interests mainly focus on blockchain, metaverse, edge intelligence, security and privacy protection, etc. He has published around 100 research papers in leading journals and flagship conferences including 10 ESI highly cited papers and 3 ESI hot papers. He is the co-inventor of 15 granted patents and has won IEEE VTS Best Paper Award,  IEEE Communications Society CSIM Technical Committee Best Journal Paper Award, IEEE Best Land Transportation Paper Award, IEEE HITC Award for Excellence in Hyper-Intelligence Systems (Early Career Researcher award), and 10 best paper awards of international conferences (e.g., WCNC 2020) as well. He is listed in the World’s Top 2% Scientists identified by Stanford University. He is now serving as the editor or guest editor for many leading journals including IEEE JSAC, TNSE, ISJ,  and  has also severed as the Co-chair of ICC Workshop, WCNC Workshop, ICDCS Workshop, Globcom 2021 Workshop, and HPCC Workshop, etc. He is a vice-chair of IEEE Technical Committee on Cognitive Networks Special Interest Group on "Wireless Blockchain Networks

Yang Yue is a Professor with the School of Information and Communications Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China. Dr. Yue’s current research interest is intelligent photonics, including optical communications, optical perception, and optical chip. 


He has published over 200 peer-reviewed journal papers (including Science) and conference proceedings with >10,000 citations, five edited books, two book chapters, >50 issued or pending patents, >200 invited presentations (including 2 tutorial, >40 plenary and >50 keynote talks). Dr. Yue is a Senior Member of IEEE, Optica and SPIE. He is an Associate Editor for IEEE Access and Frontiers in Physics, Editor Board Member for four other scientific journals, Guest Editor for >10 journal special issues. He also served as Chair or Committee Member for >100 international conferences, Reviewer for >60 prestigious journals.
